Sunday Evening Art Gallery — Round Houses

This poet has lived in both a geodesic dome and a hard sided teepee. In both cases the distribution of energy was so efficient that even in the dead of a Washington State winter a fire moored eight hours previously kept the uninsulated structures of one thickness of plywood so warm that it was desirable to undress completely upon reentry.

In many parts of the world, indigenous populations have displayed incredulous horror at the Caucasian intention to build square homes and businesses. Do you think they might have been onto something?…
